At its general assembly on June 4, 2026, the EKFZ OT elected additional spokespersons to strengthen its scientific expertise in the field of viral vectors, highlight the importance of the newly appointed Else Kröner Professors, and further underscore the role and significance of the EKFZ Academy by appointing a spokesperson.
Prof. Maria-Patapia Zafeiriou and Dr. Kathrin Kusch were elected as deputy spokespersons, while Prof. Tobias Brügmann was appointed spokesperson for the EKFZ Academy.
