- In this talk, Prof. Stefan Launer will describe and discuss how a hearing care manufacturer is managing internal and external scientific programs and partnerships, and how the results of these programs are translated into innovative product pipelines. Sonova’s internal research team comprises 80 staff members with backgrounds in neuroscience, psychology, audiology, physics, electrical and mechanical engineering. They also collaborate intensively with many (>40) academic partners around the world and participate in research granting schemes. Prof. Launer will discuss the framework and environment as well as challenges and opportunities, also for their scientific teams.
