The Else Kröner-Fresenius Foundation is dedicated to promoting medical science and supporting humanitarian aid projects.
Additionally, we update our business figures once a year at the end of May: To date, the foundation has supported around 2,800 projects. Its current annual funding volume is approximately 60 million euros. According to its statutes, the foundation only supports research projects whose results are accessible to the general public. The foundation derives its income almost exclusively from dividends of the healthcare company Fresenius, of which it is the largest shareholder.
