\u2013 Successfully Concluded with over 100 Participants.<\/span><\/h3>\n

From October 9 to 11, 2025, the second Optogenetics Meeting took place in Uslar\/Volpriehausen at the country hotel “Am Rothenberg”. During these inspiring days, experts in the field of optogenetics gathered to present and discuss new data. Furthermore, there were exciting insights into the research work. <\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”8018″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]The Optogenetics Meeting is also a platform for young scientists to present their work in the form of short talks and posters. In total, over 100 people from Europe, America, China, etc. participated. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Summary of the event and some highlights:

\n\u2022 The event was organized by the University Medical Center G\u00f6ttingen, Else Kr\u00f6ner-Fresenius Center for Optogenetic Therapies, represented by Tobias Moser, Emilie Mac\u00e9, and Tobias Br\u00fcgmann, as well as other participating G\u00f6ttingen research institutions.
\n\u2022 International speakers, guests, and two keynote lectures.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Awards for best presentation and best posters[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”50px”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row row_type=”main-section” stukram_section_layout=”section_grid”][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]The closing of the event was moderated by Emilie Mac\u00e9. She had the special task of congratulating the winners of the talk and poster prizes and presenting them with their certificates. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Participants were able to cast their votes online for this. Niels Albrecht<\/g> from the University Medical Center G\u00f6ttingen (Department of ENT) was delighted with the voting result for his talk on “Spectrally distinct responses to LED-based optogenetic cochlear implant stimulation of the cochlea\u201d. He prevailed over his colleagues with the most votes.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]We extend our sincere congratulations to all winners for their outstanding achievements.<\/p>\n
